How long is a lesson?+
Lessons are 90 minutes — long enough to actually practise, short enough to stay focused. The brush-up is 1 hour because it's followed by your road test.
Where do you pick up?+
North Vancouver, Burnaby, Vancouver and Coquitlam. Pickup and drop-off are included everywhere in those four cities. Just outside them? Call us — we can sometimes work something out.
Do I need my own car?+
Every lesson comes with our lesson car. If you have your own car and feel more comfortable using it, that's totally fine too. Just let us know when you book.
What languages do you teach in?+
English and Farsi (فارسی). We're fluent in both.
How many lessons will I need?+
Most students do 3 to 5 lessons before their test. If you've been driving for a while and just need a tune-up before the test, the brush-up is enough.
Can I bring a parent on the first lesson?+
Yes. A lot of nervous students do this, and parents of teens often want to see how a lesson works. Just let us know when you book.
What if I need to reschedule?+
Free reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations are charged the lesson price because the slot can't be re-filled.
Do you teach manual?+
We teach in an automatic. If you have your own manual car, we can accommodate that too — just call.
What happens if I fail my road test?+
We talk through what happened, focus on those areas, and you can re-book a brush-up the same week. ICBC schedules their own re-tests.
Do you do the ICBC knowledge test?+
No, that's the written test you take at ICBC. We help you prep for the road test that comes after.
